1. Who We Are
RankedSpeak is a competitive speech training app. We are operated by the RankedSpeak team and can be reached at
support@rankedspeak.com.
2. What We Collect
When you use RankedSpeak, we collect:
- Account information — email address and username when you sign up.
- Voice recordings — audio you record within the app for evaluation. Recordings are processed by our AI and stored temporarily. You can delete them at any time.
- Usage data — app interactions, feature usage, and performance metrics to improve the product.
- Device information — device type and OS version for compatibility purposes.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the app experience
- To evaluate your speech recordings using AI and return scores
- To manage your account and matchmaking
- To send product updates if you opted into our waitlist
- To detect and prevent abuse
4. AI Processing
Your voice recordings are sent to Google Gemini (Google LLC) for transcription and evaluation. Recordings are not used to train Google's models. Please review
Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Supabase — database and authentication provider
- Google Gemini — AI speech evaluation
- PostHog — product analytics (anonymized)
- RevenueCat — subscription management
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Voice recordings are stored for 90 days after submission, then deleted. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (use the delete account option in settings)
- Object to processing of your data

8. Children
RankedSpeak is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
